GSQ has changed the method of sending out its monthly newsletter, eNews. Instead of being e-mailed directly, members will be sent a web address where the latest newsletter can be downloaded. The change was mainly due to problems we had sending the newsletter. Our e-mail company, Optus, has designated that the same e-mail sent to more than 25-30 addresses is spam. We cannot then send any more e-mail for 24 hours. Some of our members have said that they would prefer just to be informed that eNews is online. If you don't like the new process, please let us know, as we want to to know if the new method is acceptable to members. If someone you know has not been receiving eNews, please also let us know. We have changed our administration computer and had to reconfigure our distribution list, so some members may have been inadvertently omitted. |
