During our recent natural disasters, the Management Committee realised that many family historians did not have plans to ensure that their family history research was protected. As another benefit for members GSQ is holding two free courses on Disaster Management for Family Historians.This is an attempt to give members some knowledge of what to do for any future events. The presenter is Christine Ianna, a conservator from the State Library of Queensland. These courses will be on Monday 11 April between 10am and midday and on Saturday 7 May between 9.30am and 11.30am. Places for these courses will be limited to 35 members per session.
