The Society's journal, Generation, is published quarterly and aims to provide material relevant to the family historian or genealogical researcher. The journal’s primary focus is to publish original stories, not to reproduce material published elsewhere.
The journal is an A4 publication distributed both nationally and internationally. It is issued free to members, but annual subscriptions are available for non-members at $AU 25.00 (including GST) if emailed. If non-members require Generation to be posted, the cost is $45. If a single Generation is purchased at GSQ's Resource Centre, the cost is $7.50. Overseas postage can be accommodated on request.
Three year subscriptions are on request to GSQ.

Articles from members are welcome. We would like to hear your stories about your research - how to get around brick walls, skeletons you have found, or research shortcuts you have stumbled on. Or, you may just want to tell your ancestors' stories. See here for instructions on submitting an article.
GSQ will publish one article from each of the past four issues. See here for recent articles.
Members wishing to advertise their research interests in this journal may do so free of charge for 15 entries per year. Up to 10 additional entries may be submitted by members at a cost of $5.00. Non-members may also submit their research interests, at a fee of $20 for up to 15 names.
Businesses wishing to advertise in Generation can find details here.
