North Brisbane Branch is a group of GSQ branch members who
meet twice a month to discuss family history, use the Branch's
library and enjoy the company of other family historians.
Visitors are welcome to come along and see how a Branch can
help them in their family history research.
Our library is held at the North Area Scout Centre, 23 Sicklefield Street, Alderley (just near the Sicklefield/Pickering St/Raymont Road intersection).
Meetings are held from February to November on the 2nd Monday of the month for a General Meeting and on the 4th Monday of the month for a guest speaker. Members and visitors are welcome after 7 p.m. There is an admission fee of $2 which covers supper and a lucky door raffle.
Directions can be found in your refidex on Map 139 C8. Parking is at the rear of the building.
The Branch has an extensive library of books, fiche,
fiche readers and CDs which members can borrow for a
small cost. There is always assistance for those members
