About the Presenters
Elisabeth Gondwe has a Master of Arts in Cultural Heritage and works at the North Stradbroke Island Museum on Minjerribah as the musarian. Elisabeth has worked for 30 years creating an audio archive and capturing oral histories for the museum and other organisations. She specialises in Aboriginal intellectual property principles and protocols. Elisabeth Gondwe is the current President of Oral History Queensland. She also serves on the Oral History Australia committee.
Pat Ryan migrated to Australia from Ireland some forty years ago and has developed an extensive knowledge of the Irish in Australia in this time. She is a long-standing member
of Oral History Queensland with an interest in Irish migration to Australia. She has collected numerous individual and community oral histories. She was a
long-time broadcaster and presenter on the Radio 4EB Irish Program. She is also an accomplished researcher, policy writer and community worker.
