This presentation from Brisbane City Archives will focus on house history and our records that document that history. The session will also mention researching family members who worked for Council and street names which often relate to original families .

Annabel Lloyd: City Archivist

Annabel was appointed as the first City Archivist in 1994 and is responsible for the overall management of the Brisbane City Council Archive including  responsibility of identifying and preserving those official Council records deemed to be of permanent archival value or significance, and making them available for use by Council and the general public. This involves understanding and documenting the historic business processes of Council, in order to validate the resulting Councils records. Annabel is a professional member of the Australian Society of Archives and been actively involved in the profession through membership of the Archives Council and professional accreditation committees.
