About the Presenters
Ailsa has been researching her own family history for in excess of 30 years. She obtained her first computer in the 1980s and taught herself how to write programs in Basic. Since then her love of and confidence in using computers has grown. Ailsa was a member of the group which established the very first “GSQ Computer Group”, assisting with many all-day seminars focused on computer programs and bulletin boards (forerunner of the internet as it is today). Ailsa is currently one of GSQ’s website coordinators and the convenor of the TAG team – this team maintains GSQ’s technical equipment (computers etc)
