Cynthia hopes to encourage both new users, and those already familiar, to come to our friendly Reading Room. There is always an Archivist to answer your questions when you visit the Archives.
She will feature three of QSA’s main tools: Our Home Page on the internet; Indexes; and our ArchivesSearch catalogue, all of which are rich in genealogical resources.
Also Cynthia will highlight the fact that much of what we hold at the Archives is not digitised.
So – all the more reason to visit our facility at Runcorn – to learn much more, by coming to where these primary sources are kept.

A Senior Reference Archivist, my career brought me to the Queensland State Archives in 2013. I work in Public Access, answering enquiries by telephone, e-mail, and assist our customers in the Reading Room.
