About the Presenter
Starting her research in the mid-nineties, Bobbie was initially told to forget about Ireland as it was all destroyed in the Dublin bombings. However, within a few years of beginning her genealogy addiction, Bobbie tackled some overseas archives to extend her Irish ancestry.
Since that point, Bobbie has made several trips to the UK and always researches in PRONI spending a minimum of two full weeks in each visit researching there. In the past, Bobbie has also researched at the local churches of her ancestors, the National Archives of Ireland and the RCB, both in Dublin. Additionally, Bobbie has manned the Irish Help Desk at multiple GSQ Open Days as well as assisting members during her duty Research Assistant days at GSQ.
