These Norfolk Island births account for less than 1% of the "Troisieme
Dizaine".
The last remaining settlers of Norfolk Island were removed to Port Dalrymple
in Van Diemens Land in January and February 1813 on board 'Lady Nelson' and
'Minstrel'. The cleanup party under William Hutchinson and a few soldiers
of the incoming 73rd Regiment were removed in 1814. Thus after twenty seven
years of existence the first settlement of Norfolk Island came to an end.
The parents of Ann Bannister are unknown at this time as is the mother of John
Meagher. Hannah & Mary Hutchinson and Thomas Sydes have baptismal records as
well thus reducing the number of new individuals to seven.

Entries on this list have the reference identifier "NI" on List 1. To locate
an entry on this list; firstly an alphabetical search on the name would be
made on List 1 from which the date of birth would be retrieved, secondly using
the appropriate date, the birth would be located on this list and finally
an alphabetical search on the name would be made on the birth date if there
should be more than one entry for that date which would certainly be the case
of only the birth year were known.
