BURIALS - HEBREW TEMPLES

 
 
The State Archives Pioneer Series mentions only one Hebrew temple during 
this decade and that was the Jewish Temple in Sydney and there were only 
one burial listed for the year 1833.
 
Regrettably to date the burial register for this temple has not been 
located.
 
The information recorded for each burial in the Archives Series is as 
follows:
 burial year
 Christian name
 family name
  age
 reference number
 
Who the officiating rabbi was is at present unknown.
 
On this occasion personal research has not been able to identify the individual 
concerned.
 
To locate an entry on this list; firstly an alphabetical search on the 
name would be made on List 5 using code "SYDH" from which the date of 
burial would be retrieved, secondly using the appropriate date, the 
burial would then be located on this list.
